Retail Carpet Tile for a Lynbrook Optical Store
This Lynbrook optical store needed to replace its retail floor without disrupting daily business, transitioning cleanly from the front hardwood display area into the fitting and browsing sections toward the rear of the shop.
We installed a durable, multi-tonal blue commercial carpet tile suited to constant retail foot traffic, with a clean transition strip separating it from the existing hardwood near the entrance.

The Challenge
Retail floors take heavy daily traffic from browsing customers, and the installation needed to work around display cases and fixtures while creating a clean, level transition from the entrance hardwood.
Our Solution
We selected a commercial-grade carpet tile in a durable, easy-care construction that hides everyday soiling, and installed it around the store's existing fixtures with a finished transition strip at the hardwood threshold.
Our installation included:
- Subfloor inspection and preparation
- Carpet tile selection for retail durability
- Installation around fixtures and display cases
- Transition strip fitting at the hardwood threshold
- Final inspection and walkthrough
The Finished Result
The finished retail floor holds up to daily customer traffic while giving the shop a clean, updated look. The transition strip keeps the change from hardwood to carpet tile looking intentional and finished.
